Artist Statement:
"In the past 25 years, my work has evolved into a more abbreviated mode of painting by using the intuitive right side of the brain during the first stages of my painting process, then relying on the critical left for the abstracting or editing of the unnecessary information. My paintings must speak for themselves. My intent is to allow the viewer the freedom to interpret my paintings in their own mind. Explore all the rules of design, that which makes a technically correct piece of artwork, then learn how to break the rules. This is critical in the mastering of ones on unique style of painting."
